I like that you are using black and white as a theme. They fit as a sequence very well. They are very reminiscent of Ansel Adams work. I am not familiar with the other photographers, but they are designed in a way that implies photography. I also like the Ansel Adams cover with the camera even though it is more obvious. very nice :)
I really like how simple these are but, I think that color is pretty necessary to really give these the extra boost. I really enjoy the black/white gradient with the silhouette of the mountains but the gradient could be executed a little bit better. Try texturizing it and doing a little "grunge brush erasing" to the mountains or messing with the overlay options in photoshop and putting a smooth texture behind it to give it a really natural feeling. The really clean typography will flair more and it will look pretty dope.
